Art Direction: Billy Reid’s SS20 M+W Campaign, on location in New Orleans
The SS20 Campaign for Billy Reid was mutil-faceted. After a restructuring within the design team and marketing team, I was to leave New Orleans with hundreds of images from all 3 drops in Spring/Summer for both our men’s and women’s collections. In an effort to relaunch “Billy Reid’s Journal” (blog), I included in our shoot a “local natives” segment with old friends of the brand, and a few new ones. Each chose their own look from our SS20 collection, the location in which they would be photographed, and answered a few questions as part of a social campaign of brand ambassadors.
As a “thank you” to our ambassadors and the team, and as is the way in Southern hospitality, I also organized a low country boil for all to get to know one another, and take some fun photos in the process.
Following the photoshoot, I also put together our seasonal “Product Knowledge” deck for all retail and wholesale teams to reference when training teams for incoming new collections.
