Following my project with Auberge Resorts, the team at The Columns Hotel in New Orleans, LA reached out seeking guidance on a cohesive uniform effort for their Front of House teams, Concierge/Hosts, Housekeeping + Maintenance teams, Runners and Bartenders. As the extensive renovation was coming to a close, the budget was tight. I pitched various “blanks” I knew would be available at wholesale and could be customized, with a few custom “amplifier” garments and accessories that could root the staff in subtle, but intentional ways. Although the project did not come to pass exactly like my concepts, I was still able to provide guidance into existing bodies and help with the purchase of “off-the-rack” pieces.
