DIRECTOR OF RUNWAY: BILLY REID SS20

For Billy Reid’s SS20 Runway show, I designed, tested and built out a life-sized parachute installation using five vintage-sourced parachutes, styled the show on models I casted, sourced and booked hair & makeup teams, booked backstage photography by Adam Katz Sinding, runway photography by our in-house photography team, collected VIP and gen-pop guest lists and organized our seating chart with front row count maximized by seating layout, designed and sourced floral installations for the check-in/cocktail area along with furnitures and vintage-wears (paid for via sponsorships), and converted an Olympic-sized gymnastics studio with the help of ~30 volunteers from our local university as our venue (and put it back together) for less than a total spend of $43k.

Men and Women “ambassadors” from my casting board walked to a live performance by Cautious Clay’s “Cold War”.

Site CADs were created using the original blueprints from the gymnastics studio for my team, lighting teams, sound/electrician teams, music talent, code inspections, insurance auditors and equipment and furniture delivery teams to reference.
