REEL: How to Make a custom flag

Oxford Pennant asked me make a reel for instagram that shows how a custom order is processed through design, manufacturing and fulfillment teams. I made a quick checklist of scenes to capture, and filmed all video on my iphone. I made sure to select a diverse “cast of characters”, all whom are real employees of Oxford Pennant to showcase our diverse (and adorable) team. I captured the videos over the course of 2 working days. I edited the reel in Adobe Premiere Pro. To date, it is the 2nd most watched reel on Oxford Pennant’s instagram, with 192k views and counting.

aD: Make a custom banner

Oxford Pennant commissioned me to make multiple ads highlighting their custom banner capabilities. As a customer myself, I used a banner I had already created and proudly hung in my basement for this video. I layered narrated audio over top of the ad in their branded “jersey block” typeface for cohesion. I shot the video on iphone in my home, and edited video, sound and captions in Adobe Premiere Pro.

aD: Oxford Pennant’s Customizer

Oxford Pennant needed an ad that highlighted their customizable products that customers can order direct from the site, without additional instruction. I had purchased a custom “hometown” banner of my own a few years ago and thought this would be perfect to use in the ad. I shot the video on iphone in my home, and edited video, sound and captions in Adobe Premiere Pro.

AD: Celebrate Everything!

Oxford Pennant commissioned me to make multiple ads as the holiday season was around the corner. My family purchased this framed pennant, and it was perfect to showcase what their framing can do to the quality of their already beautifully made pennants. All video was filmed with iPhone and in my family’s home, and edited in Adobe Premiere.

REEL: Road to Luck

Oxford Pennant was the official sponsor and “official pennant” from 2022-2023 at Willie Nelson’s Luck Ranch. This reel was a small teaser leading up to the ranch’s largest festival, Luck Reunion. I recorded the video using a digital camera, edited the video in Adobe Premiere Pro, and used a few branded icons from our collaboration with Willie Nelson. This reel has 10.2k views.

REEL: Customizer Round-Up

To further promote Oxford Pennant’s customizer tool, I asked our fulfillment team to hold a few shipments so I could make a quick reel of all the orders we were shipping out this week. This reel currently has 34k views.

STATIC POST: Bestsellers

Oxford Pennant needed a quick, snappy video to be used as an ad and as a static post on their instagram feed. I was sent a few camp flags and pennants, and opted for a freeze frame, fake gallery wall concept.
